Answer a portfolio question
Pull together leases, balances, upcoming renewals, or exceptions from the records you are allowed to see.
Flexible workflow comparison
Rentium keeps everyday work in the app, while giving your team a secure way to create focused views, connect other software, and work with an AI assistant you choose. The same permissions and accounting rules still apply.
In plain language
What flexibility looks like
Owners and property management teams can keep the system of record in Rentium while adapting how information is gathered, reviewed, and presented for a specific task.
Pull together leases, balances, upcoming renewals, or exceptions from the records you are allowed to see.
Keep personal context for one workspace membership or share workspace context with authorized collaborators as Markdown files you can browse, edit, pin, and delete.
Convert a rent roll or lease file into a proposed plan, inspect the mapping, and approve it before records are created.
Create a focused queue for missing data, delinquency review, renewals, or reconciliation instead of waiting for a new standard report.
A hard product boundary
Rentium's built-in assistant and external AI connection cannot start an ACH payment, link or disconnect a bank feed, retrieve balances or full account details, submit identity documents, or alter team access.
The product enforces this boundary. It does not depend on asking an AI model to be careful.
Always kept outside AI
Within the user's existing access, AI can gather context, prepare work, use the same inspectable memory, propose imports, and use permitted record operations. Where bank-agent access is enabled, that includes reviewing or coding bank activity, matching exact existing ledger entries, mapping settlement accounting to an already-connected account, and managing deterministic categorization rules. A match is not reconciliation, and none of these operations can create or redirect a bank transfer.
Rentium intercepts protected actions—such as record deletion, payment recording, rent posting, and tenancy endings—and shows the exact arguments in an Approve/Reject card. Routine record and memory work stays direct. Bank connections, identity checks, billing, and team access stay in their normal product flows.
Compare workflow flexibility
A vendor's own AI feature and customer-controlled access are not the same thing. This comparison separates built-in assistance from the ability to connect your own software or compatible AI tools.
Rentium
Public documentation for custom connections; sign-in and workspace access are still required.
TenantCloud
Public docs and scoped personal access tokens.
Rentium
Compatible AI tools use allowed operations and inspectable Rentium memory without bypassing permissions.
TenantCloud
Rentium
Public OpenAPI and an OAuth AI connection are product surfaces; Rentium remains in private preview.
TenantCloud
Customer-generated API credentials; plan eligibility should be confirmed with TenantCloud.
Rentium
Owners and property management teams that want dependable records and room to adapt how work gets done
TenantCloud
Owners and growing property-management teams
This focused shortlist covers landlord-first, mobile-suite, growing-team, and professional-property-management products. “Not publicly documented” does not rule out private or partner access.
For technical teams
OpenAPI and MCP are two entry points into the same governed product—not separate copies of your rental data or shortcuts around Rentium's controls.
Developers can build integrations and focused interfaces from documented Rentium operations.
Compatible AI tools can discover allowed operations and use the same inspectable memory after the user signs in and chooses a workspace.
Both paths keep portfolio scope, permissions, validation, and accounting safeguards in force.
Feature and price claims were checked against vendor-owned pricing, product, help, or developer pages. “No public API or MCP located” means no customer-facing documentation was found; it does not prove that private access is unavailable.
Rentium's interface, public API, and AI connection share the same lease, charge, payment, permission, and ledger rules.
