Where bank feeds are enabled, that workspace also supports categorization, exact one-to-one matching, and deterministic rules that either apply automatically or leave a proposal for review. The per-lease statements and owner books are backed by a balanced double-entry ledger with immutable entries. The Reports hub renders Income Statement, Schedule E worksheet, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, General Ledger, and upcoming-vacancy reports with owner and property filters, Cash or Accrual where it applies, and PDF, Excel, CSV, or clipboard output.
- Can Rentium categorize bank transactions automatically?
- Yes, where bank feeds are enabled. An authorized user can build exact rules from an account, normalized description, money direction, and absolute amount or range. Rules default to automatic categorization, while Review mode leaves the transaction in Needs review and changes no books or match state until someone accepts it. Conditions can be tested before choosing a category. Past transactions are changed only through an explicit previewed batch; previously categorized activity is optional and excluded activity stays protected. Moov rent-payment matching is managed by Rentium rather than configured in the rule builder. It is not bank reconciliation and does not create another journal entry.
- Can I import my existing rental data?
- Yes. Open Rentium's built-in AI assistant and attach the files you already have — spreadsheets, CSV files, lease PDFs, or screenshots. The assistant reads them, proposes an import plan for your confirmation, creates the records, and verifies the result against your portfolio and rent roll.
- Can I see and control what the assistant remembers?
- Yes. The Assistant memory page shows the Markdown files Rentium can use across conversations. Personal files stay with you for one workspace membership; workspace files are shared only with collaborators who have workspace-wide assistant access. You can search, read, edit, pin, or delete them, while changing balances, leases, and payments continue to come from Rentium's live records instead of memory.
- Can I connect my Quo calls and messages?
- Yes. Each staff member can connect their own Quo access to Rentium's built-in assistant with OAuth and no copied API key. Rentium discovers the current tools Quo makes available to that person. Only tools explicitly marked read-only can answer directly; sending a message, changing a contact or task, or using anything without clear read-only metadata always pauses for an exact Approve/Reject card and runs at most once. The staff member can disconnect the grant at any time.
- Can I use Rentium from ChatGPT or Claude?
- Yes. Add Rentium as a custom plugin in ChatGPT or a custom connector in Claude, then sign in securely and choose a Rentium workspace. When bank-agent access is enabled for your deployment, it can also use your existing permission to review and code imported bank transactions, match them to exact accounting already in your books, map rent-payment settlement accounting to an already-connected account, and manage deterministic categorization rules. Matching is not statement reconciliation, and these tools cannot link or disconnect a bank feed, retrieve balances or full account details, change the provider bank account, or move money. - Can Rentium collect rent online?
- Yes. Rentium supports tenant bank linking and ACH rent collection, with each settled payment posting automatically to the same ledger and ACH returns recorded as explicit reversals. Checks and Zelle payments can still be recorded manually.

- Yes. The API is a first-class surface: the OpenAPI schema is public at rentium.app/api/docs, every endpoint requires authentication, and all data is scoped to your workspace.
